Position: L1 Field Support Engineer
Location: New Delhi, India

Job brief
As a Field Technical Support Engineer in our Services team you will be responsible to ensure highest uptime on networks, desktops and other resources at our client locations. You will strictly adhere to SLA's with the clients, and do what it takes to ensure continuity and highest availability. Your primary responsiblities will be to ensure all patches are applied, firmwares updated, documentation for our networks done, and support provided to resolve tickets.

You will be backed up by our L2/L3 Team who will provide you support where servers and other access are required.

For more complex problems that require nuanced instruction, you will contact clients via phone and/or provide clear, written instructions and technical manuals.

Technology Support Engineer (Desktop & Network)

  • Manage Network and Desktop Machines
  • Manage Basics of Servers for Maintenance
  • Install New Network Equipment, Machines and Configure Them
  • Install, Configure and maintain System software, backup and recovery, system monitoring, disaster recovery, security, audit, capacity, tool support
  • Patching and udpating Servers for Security Updates
  • Manage Relationship with Vendors, ISP's, and other Relevant Stake Holders


  • Familiarity with remote desktop applications and help desk software (eg. Zoho Desk)
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to provide step-by-step technical help, both written and verbal
  • Additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus
  • Ability to work under stressful situations

Skills & Competencies

  • Operating Systems - Windows 10 and Windows 8, Basic Knowledge of Linux and MacOS
  • Applications - MS-office, Desktop and Server related applications
  • Infrastructure - Good Experience on Support of Desktop Environment is mandatory
  • Basic Concept and understanding of Networks
  • Knowledge on Network Printers, Wireless, Mailing Solution is must.
  • Should have experience in Domain Environment
  • Must have sufficient knowledge of Basic Network Components
  • Must have working knowledge & exposure of customer handling
  • Knowledge on Virtualization technology will be an added advantage
  • Additional certification will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of Server operating systems and its functioning.
  • Should have mindset and attitude to serve and support customers and be a great team spirit
