'JI' is a gender-neutral honorific suffix and can be used for a person, relationships or inanimate objects as well. It is similar to the gender-neutral Japanese honorific SAN.
The culture of "Ji" is something that is taught to each Indian child, while they are growing up.
At System3 we suffix everyone with the word ji, including our vendors, clients, and even our colleagues.
